By accessing or using this website, its digital tools, or its downloadable resources, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or its materials.

2. Intended audience and purpose

The site is primarily intended for adults, including individuals, leaders, educators, facilitators, community members, and organizations interested in learning and practicing the Share Aloha Now method.

The resources provide educational tools for learning the ALOHA values, reflection, conversation, facilitation, and leadership practice.

The site is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information through the site.

3. Permission to use free resources

Unless a resource states different terms, Share Aloha Now grants you a limited, nonexclusive, revocable, nontransferable license to use free downloadable resources for your own personal, educational, or internal noncommercial organizational purposes.

You may

• Download and print current resources for your own learning.
• Use current resources with an internal group you lead.
• Share an unmodified copy with participants in that internal group.
• Reference Share Aloha Now with clear attribution and a link to the website.

You may not, without written permission

• Sell, sublicense, repackage, or commercially distribute the materials.
• Use the materials as part of a paid third-party training, consulting, licensing, or certification service.
• Remove attribution or present Share Aloha Now materials or methods as your own.
• Publish modified versions in a way that implies approval, affiliation, or endorsement.
• Create or market a certification, credential, facilitator designation, or authorized program using Share Aloha Now materials or branding without written authorization.

4. Current versions of resources

Share Aloha Now materials may change as the project develops. Downloadable resources may include version numbers so users can identify the current method and guidance.

When facilitating or distributing Share Aloha Now materials, you are responsible for checking the website for the current version. Older versions may remain accessible for archival or technical reasons but should not be assumed to represent current guidance.

5. Cultural integrity

Hawaiian language, Aloha, and Hawaiian cultural knowledge are not owned by Share Aloha Now.

You agree not to use this site or its materials to claim ownership of Hawaiian culture, erase or misrepresent cultural origins, or imply cultural authority you do not hold.

6. Share Aloha Now teaching system

Share Aloha Now uses a contemporary teaching and practice system built around the five ALOHA values.

Project-created elements include teaching symbols such as A^k and A^h, the physical and digital ALOHA die, the triangle as the ALOHA Pause, Teaching Mode, Practice Mode, reflection prompts, scenarios, facilitator materials, and related instructional design.

These project-created tools should not be represented as if they are themselves the historical or cultural source of the five-value ALOHA formulation.

7. Intellectual property and trademarks

Except for Hawaiian language and cultural concepts, public-domain material, third-party material, and content identified as belonging to someone else, original site text, graphics, downloads, software, instructional materials, and design are owned by or licensed to Share Aloha Now and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

SHARE ALOHA NOW™ and associated project branding may be used to identify the project and its materials. These Terms do not grant permission to use the Share Aloha Now name, branding, logos, product presentation, or other source-identifying material in a way that suggests sponsorship, authorization, certification, partnership, or endorsement.

No ownership rights transfer to you under these Terms.

8. Responsible practice and facilitation

You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use the materials in your setting.

Do not use Share Aloha Now to force disclosure, shame participants, compel agreement or forgiveness, bypass accountability, replace required professional support, or avoid applicable safety, employment, educational, legal, medical, or organizational procedures.

Participation choices and personal boundaries should be respected.

A rolled value provides a perspective for reflection. It does not make decisions, determine truth, assign responsibility, predict outcomes, or guarantee a particular result.

9. Partnerships, training, and organizational use

Information on the site about partnerships, pilots, facilitator preparation, training, or organizational support describes possible ways of working together. It does not guarantee availability, acceptance, pricing, scope, certification, or a particular service.

Any specific paid service, partnership, licensing arrangement, organizational program, or other engagement may be subject to a separate written agreement.

10. Physical products and product information

Share Aloha Now may describe physical products that are still in development, including the ALOHA die, packaging, printed materials, or related items.

Product descriptions, prototypes, images, materials, dimensions, packaging, features, pricing, availability, and release plans may change before commercial release. A separate sales, shipping, return, or purchase policy may apply if and when products are offered for sale.

11. Acceptable site use

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorized access to the site, accounts, systems, or data.
• Introduce malicious code, interfere with site operation, or evade security controls.
• Use the site to harass, threaten, defraud, or harm another person.
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, authorization, certification, partnership, or endorsement.
• Use automated methods in a way that places an unreasonable burden on the site or interferes with normal operation.

12. Communications and submissions

When you submit a contact, accessibility, cultural-feedback, training, partnership, or product-interest request, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We may use the information you provide to review and respond to your request as described in our Privacy Policy .

13. Feedback and suggestions

We welcome corrections, accessibility reports, cultural feedback, and suggestions.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, submitting general feedback does not create a confidential, fiduciary, employment, partnership, or compensation relationship. Do not submit confidential business information, proprietary material, or content you do not have permission to share through a general feedback channel.

The site may use or link to third-party services. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, accessibility, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and policies.

15. No professional relationship

Accessing the site, downloading materials, submitting a form, participating in an educational practice, or communicating with Share Aloha Now does not by itself create a therapist-client, attorney-client, mediator-client, consultant-client, employment, fiduciary, certification, partnership, or other professional relationship.

To the extent permitted by law, the site, digital tools, downloads, and other resources are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

We do not promise that the site or materials will always be available, error-free, secure, accessible to every user or technology, or suitable for every person, group, setting, or purpose.

17. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Share Aloha Now and those working on its behalf will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or resources. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

18. Changes and availability

We may update, replace, suspend, or remove site content, tools, downloads, or resources as the project develops.

We may also revise these Terms. Material revisions will appear on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the site after revised Terms become effective means the revised Terms apply to your later use.

19. Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
